This course is for people who have never used an industrial sewing machine. 

If you have done the Basic Sewing course you can choose some or all the other Modular Courses.

Each course includes a free kit with all the materials that you will need to make the garment – you do not need to bring anything with you.

If you have not done the Industrial Basic Sewing, but are confident that you can sew and use a machine, then you can do an assessment to make sure that you know enough to continue with the modular courses.  It costs R 300 to complete the assessment. Call Isabel on 011 333 0421 to book an assessment and she will give you the list of materials and equipment to bring with you.

INDUSTRIAL MACHINE BASIC SEWING R 1,970  TAKES 6 SATURDAYS 

• 8, 15, 22 February, 1, 8 & 15 March
• 7, 21, 28 June, 5, 12 & 19 July 
• 27 September , 4, 11,18 October & 1 November              

When you have done the Industrial Basic Sewing course you can choose some or all the following modular courses:

CURTAINS R 1,660 TAKES 5 SATURDAYS 

You will make samples of a scalloped & smocked curtain.

• 5, 12 April, 10, 17 & 24 May 

BEDDING R 1,900 TAKES 5 SATURDAYS 

You will make a fitted sheet, duvet cover, comforter and pillowcase.

• 2, 16, 23, 30 August & 6 September 

All Sewing Course fees must be paid in advance, minimum age is 16 years.
